Prompts in this programme invite you to explore different tones, voices, and structures—but always gently. They will push you out of your comfort zone. There’s no pressure to impress. Just space to play, experiment, and grow. Your prompts in this exercise are visual and your story will centre around what your senses are telling you. Why not pick a genre you are less familiar with to challenge you; push you out of your comfort zone.

Christmas Spirit

Plain Janey is a cautionary tale about friendships that’s bonded over lies and secrets. It’s also filled with suspense that creeps up on the readier.
